COACH PROFILE

Head Coach, Brendon Vella has coached thousands of kids through his work with Cricket NSW, and with All Round Institute of Cricket (formerly Vella's Cricket Academy).  His years of both playing and coaching have provided him with learning opportunities that have created a knowledge base in not only the technical aspects of the game, but also in the tactical and mental side of both sport and life. 

Brendon is the type of coach that looks to pinpoint critical technical faults and provide understandable feedback so that the player can make the appropriate adjustments to their technique.

Brendon's Playing History started in the Hawkesbury area, playing both Representative and Grade Cricket for Hawkesbury, then moving onto his club club Penrith. In season 2018/19, Brendon won Penrith Cricket Club's All Rounder of the Year, whilst also captaining both 4th and 5th Grade Premier Cricket teams for the club. 

In terms of his Coaching History, Brendon has filled many roles, being club coach for Jordan Springs and Pendle Hill Colts Cricket Clubs, whilst also coaching Representative Cricket for Penrith. He is now one of the Assistant Coaches for Penrith Cricket Club Men's Program.
