Kieren Parker

Kieren came to us in January of 2022, having struggled in the first few months of that season. Since then, Kieren has become one of our most consistent performers, not only in club cricket, but also in Representative Cricket. Kieren's development has been phenomenal, to the point where his batting average is now triple that of what it was 2 seasons ago. 

Our Training method with Kieren

When Kieren came to us, he had significant issues with his pre-ball routine, and his movement patterns with both his bat path but also with his weight transfer into the ball. Through a large volume of technical work, from drop ball and underarm drills, over time Kieren was able to build a steady base of a technique that allowed him to bat for longer periods in games. With that, we have worked with Kieren on his ability to get through the first 15 balls of his innings. Kieren previously struggled to do this, due to poor concentration. Kieren continues to development with his game awareness skills, and this will allow him to perform at higher levels in the future.
